March 2nd - We will have pre-registration meetings with our current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade groups. The meetings will be approximately 30-40 minutes in length.
Spring Picture Day will be March 18th!
SENIORS - Remember that ALL Community Service Hours for Tennessee Scholars must be turned in to Mrs. Kelley by March 31st. If you need community service hours in order to meet requirements - see Mrs. Kelley for ideas and suggestions.

Seniors, we are selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts to help pay for Project Graduation. If you've not picked up forms yet, they are by the office door and on Mrs. Perkins's door. Prices are on the forms. Money is due at the next Project Graduation meeting on Monday, March 1st.

Mrs. Kelley's Information:
Ms. Kelley has information on the Murray State Commonwealth Honors Academy for interested juniors. This program is a four week summer program for high level juniors. The program is a program that helps students prepare for the college experience and enables students to receive 6 hours of college credit. Applicants must have an ACT Composite score of 25 or higher or a PLAN Test Score of 21 or higher. See Mrs. Kelley for application information. Applications are due by March 1, 2010.
UTM is sponsoring a Young Scholars Academy this summer for sophomores and juniors. This program is a one week program designed to expose students who are underrepresented in higher education to a world of opportunities. See Ms. Kelley for more information if you are interested. The application deadline is March 15, 2010.
The registration deadline for the April ACT test is March 5, 2010. Registration packets are available in Ms. Kelley’s office.
All DHS Juniors will be taking the ACT on March 9, 2010 at Dresden High School.
There will be an ACT Help Session on Monday, March 1 st and March 8th from 3:00 - 4:15 in Mrs. Coleman’s classroom.
Nurse Camp - See Mrs. Kelley to pick up applications for the Crash Course Nurse Camp which will be held in Union City this summer. This is a FREE, Week-long workshop for students interested in nursing or other health related areas. Applications must be turned in to Mrs. Kelley by March 17th.
Seniors-There are several new scholarships on the scholarship shelf, including the Will R. Manier Rotary Scholarship (Dresden Rotary Club) and the Dresden Foundation Scholarship. These two scholarships are local scholarships that will go to a Dresden High School Student. Please check all the scholarships and apply if you are eligible.

Students-Be sure to look at the eligibility requirements for each scholarship to make sure that you meet the requirements before you fill out the application. Seniors-Please also remember to check with your parents places of employment and your places of employment to see if scholarships are available. ALL 9th through 12th Graders need to check the Scholarship shelf on a regular basis.
